About Bill

I currently attend the College of Staten Island (CUNY) and major in Communications (Journalism) and English, with a minor in Cinema Studies. I work as a research assistant to investigative journalist Wayne Barrett of The Village Voice. In the summer of 2009, I completed an internship with The Nation magazine. During my undergraduate studies, I served as the editor in chief of The Banner for two years. This came after a year of working on the staff as a news reporter and editor of the politics page. While my work is primarily geared towards journalism, I have also experimented with acting, film production, editing, screenwriting and creative writing. In the fall of 2006, I performed in the student rendition of Tartuffe by Moliere. As a personal venture, I have helped produce short videos.
